What we can offer locally...

Torbay's Crime Reduction Team
Torbay's Crime Reduction Team comprises of a Community Safety Sergeant, two trained Crime Prevention and Architectural Liaison Officers and a civilian researcher based in the Safer Communities Partnership Office of Torquay Police Station. The Crime Reduction Team is responsible for driving forward longer term solutions to address crime reduction in Torbay in line with the Safer Communities Strategy as well as the local Police strategy.

Here are just some of the services the team offer...

Safe 'N' Secure
- Funding is available to the most vulnerable to ensure that improvements are made to the security of their home.

Surveys
We can provide Security Survey Reports on dwellings, commercial premises, schools, hotels, car parks, housing estates and on many other types of developments and establishments.

Presentations
We have the capability to attend any type of venue and provide suitable crime prevention display material or alternatively give presentations utilising our powerpoint projection system.

Crime Prevention Literature
We have a wealth of up-to-date crime prevention literature including posters, stickers and videos.

Funding
Advice on possible funding sources for any initiatives you may want to get off the ground.
